Forsyth Georgia Ham Tailgate and Swap Meet

The Fourth Annual Forsyth, GA Ham Tailgate / Swap Meet will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024.

This event will again be held in Forsyth, Georgia at the Monroe County Recreational Complex at 100 Dan Pitts Drive, which is just off of I-75 exit 188, across the interstate from the GPSTC training center. Admission is free for everyone!

The event will be held “indoors” at the recreation center main gymnasium building. Soft sole shoes required.  Please bring your own tables and chairs.  Make sure the feet are still attached and in good shape to protect the floor. Bring your 2-wheel dollies. A few tables are available on a first come basis.  Limited outdoor setup is available. Three ARRL gift certificates will be given away.

Setup will begin at 6:30 am with the event starting at 8:00 am and ending at 2:00 pm. Some Food/Drinks will be available for purchase. This is a very nice complex with plenty of parking for all attendees. No alcohol or pets are permitted in the complex. Electricity will be available for testing of equipment, with limitations.

VE-Testing at 10:00 am, contact Scott Dooley 478-508-5123 or Tim Cherry 770-358-2789 to reserve a testing slot, must have FRN number to test.  

Free Admission for all attendees, donations accepted. Food is available for purchase.  No pets or alcohol are permitted at the event.
